Brooklyn Center Recreation continues to make difficult and heartbreaking decisions related to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result of guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Minnesota Department of Health and others, we have made the decision to not host any
in-person programming during the month of June.

Department Information


Overview
The Community Activities, Recreation and Services Department includes Recreation, the Community Center, Centerbrook Golf Course and the Government Buildings Division

Recreation    
  • Active Older Adults: day trips, educational speakers, senior luncheons and social groups
  • Adult Recreation: group fitness, swim lessons, pottery and specialty classes
  • Community Events: Entertainment in the Park, Earle Brown Days Festival, Dudley/Budweiser Classic Softball Tournament, Halloween Party and Holly Sunday   
  • Adult Sports: basketball, volleyball and softball leagues
  • Youth Recreation: youth soccer, swim lessons, dance, summer camps, art camps, Pre-K programs, Rec On The Go, Safety Academy, Home Alone Safety
